YOUNG FRIENDS OF GESU SCHOOL

Young Friends of Gesu School is an enthusiastic group of young adults organized to support the children and the mission of Gesu School.

YOU CAN HELP US TRANSFORM A LIFE!

As a group, we are trying to raise enough

funds to sponsor a child at Gesu School.

A sponsorship covers the approximate annual cost of one child's Gesu education - $5,800 for the 2009-2010 school year.

Our efforts will give a student in North Philadelphia the chance to pursue a better future. We know our investment will be worthwhile because Gesu students succeed, despite the numerous obstacles they face. More than 90% of Gesu alumni complete high school in four years, an on-time graduation rate well above Philadelphia's citywide average of 51%. (There are no selective academic requirements to attend Gesu. In fact, many students start behind grade level.)

So far we've raised $5,470 towards our goal of $5,800, thanks to the generosity of everyone who has attended our events and sent donations. You can help us in our quest to sponsor a child when you support one of our events or make a gift on behalf of the "Young Friends Sponsorship."
